We are seeking a Civil Lead with 20+ years of experience in large planning projects to join head office in Brisbane's CBD. This role will focus primarily on PAF Preliminary Evaluation, Business Cases, and motorway planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 consultancies and may also assist in the detailed design phase of projects. This is a leadership position where you will guide and influence key projects that shape our infrastructure landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale civil engineering planning projects, ensuring technical excellence and successful delivery.
- Oversee PAF Preliminary Evaluations and contribute to the creation of Business Cases for significant infrastructure developments.
- Provide expert input into motorway planning and other high-profile transportation projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and project success.
- Assist in the detailed design phase where required, ensuring high-quality and practical engineering solutions.
- Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers, fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Support business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals.
- 20+ years of experience in civil engineering, with significant expertise in large-scale planning projects, including PAF Preliminary Evaluations, Business Cases, and motorway planning.
- Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 consultancy environments, with experience handling complex, high-value projects.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a focus on delivering excellence and driving innovation.
- Familiarity with detailed design processes, with the ability to assist where necessary.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools).
