Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a Junior/Cadet Draftsperson to join their growing civil and structural engineering team in their Brisbane Office.

About the Role:
As a Junior / Cadet Draftsperson, you will work in the transport team, alongside Civil Engineers, Designers and other Drafters to develop technical drawings, assist in project documentation, and ensure accuracy in designs, across QLD and NSW.
You will gain hands-on experience using CAD and Revit software while working on a variety of projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and looking for a long-term career in drafting and engineering.

You should be:
• Currently completing or recently completed a civil engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution (Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, Certificate IV)
• Any familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit would be advantageous
• Eagerness to learn and develop drafting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A quick learner who can absorb and apply new information efficiently
• Ability to interpret written instructions, mark-ups and technical drawings.
• Previous consultancy experience would be advantageous (but not necessary)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
