About our client.
Our client is a market leader in asset management and building consultancy. They employ cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to provide assessment, data management, and reporting services to both government and private entities.
This information can be used to better understand the condition of buildings and other assets, and inform decisions about maintenance schedules, repair and replacement of equipment, budgets, project scopes or assist with applications for funding. 

About the role.
Due to newly awarded projects, our client is seeking professionals with experience or recent qualifications in technical disciplines, such as engineering, building surveying, architecture etc.. willing to learn or with experience in data capture for asset management/facilities management. You will be conducting audits on a range of facilities which may include, hospitals, schools, universities/TAFE, correctional centres, and local government buildings.
Your responsibilities will include.

  • Identify and record data on relevant mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures and building fabric (materials).
  • Verify existing data; ensure it is updated to reflect the assets current location and state of repair.
  • Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is upload as directed to minimise risk of data loss.
  • Craft highly detailed and precise reports on asset conditions, defects, and compliance with building and access codes.
  • Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
To be successful.
  • A current Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to be highly methodical and provide an exceptional level of attention to detail.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Victorian driver's license, and willingness to travel.
  • Proficient with the use and basic troubleshooting of smart phones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
  • Professional demeanour and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
